Our client is a Woman-owned carrier and freight brokerage that started back in 2004. They have experienced astounding year-over-year growth by providing “first in class” customer service to their customers and consistently investing in their people.

LTL Carrier Capacity Manager
Our client recently re-opened their Tampa office and are looking to become more “multimodal”. With a core competency of full truckload shipping, they are looking for an individual to help create their LTL service offering.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Help to select the proper technology platform to utilize for LTL rating.
  • Leverage relationships to establish LTL pricing tariffs with local, regional, and national carriers.
  • Facilitate training with operation and sales for the shipping mode.
  • Help to develop a sales strategy for us to sell the product.
  • Grow LTL business and build out a Team.
  • Collaborate with Client Sales Team to identify potential opportunities within our active business for LTL.
  • Be the subject matter expert for the corporation.
Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5-10 years of industry experience focused primarily on sourcing LTL carriers.
  • Extraordinary time management, work ethic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to set priorities.
  • Result-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Being comfortable working both independently and in a team setting.
  • Willingness to learn and grow your skills and competencies.
  • Impeccable communication skills and the ability to successfully negotiate and influence others.
