Logistics Sales Executive
This role is responsible for identifying, contacting, and onboarding new customers, in order to match up their shipping network with our client’s carrier network for the transportation of their goods – at a profit. 

Responsibilities:
  • Use lead generation tools to establish potential prospects.
  • Conduct daily calls, emails, and other communications with prospects.
  • Set up phone or face-to-face meetings as needed to close deals.
  • Follow all customer on-boarding processes and requirements.  
  • Utilize TMS and Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) as needed on a daily basis.
  • Identify and adhere to all customer KPI’s.
  • Create and develop customer profiles and SOP’s.
  • Manage customer accounts as needed.
  • Work with account management on account transition.
  • Manage and facilitate all customer bids.
  • Assist with any AR / AP problems as needed in relation to your customers.
  • Oversee account management personnel working with your customers.
  • Possess a continuous understanding and knowledge of market conditions and industry trends.
  • Build rapport with all internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, monthly Customer Sales Executive KPI’s.  
  • Responsible for rate negotiations, customer bids, RFQ’s, RFP’s and customer QBR’s.
  • Build relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Build rapport and have fun.
  • Participate in meetings.
  • Travel as needed.
  • Interact with multiple departments.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks when requested by management.

Experience:
  • Basic understanding of the transportation industry.
  • Basic computer literacy.  
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Verbal and written communication etiquette.
  • Professional and corporate demeanor.
