Export Coordinator
Our client is currently looking for an Export Coordinator located within the Fenton area to work directly with customers and serve as their first point of contact.
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Front Line/First Point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Support Outside Sales Representatives through maintaining customer base, providing sales quotes to include export freight, order entry, sample requests, and product registrations.
- Timely and accurate processing of incoming orders and quotation requests via phone, fax, or email.
- Respond to various customer requests in a timely and effective manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Resolve all customer issues/opportunities such as pricing, tracking shipments and/or processing credits.
- Document customer service deviations to ensure proper investigation/resolution.
- Comply with the company’s export procedures, regulations, and documentation.
- Effectively communicate with salespeople, distributors, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure we meet or exceed customers’ expectations.
- Assure that export documentation is completed correctly and timely.
- Work with freight companies and freight forwarders on freight rates, quotes, and all related documentation, including letters of credit.
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years minimum experience in Export Customer Service with emphasis on creating all export documents.
- Experience using CRM software programs is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) … Additional languages a plus
- Customer service, team and goal-oriented, enhanced by a high sense of urgency
- Strong time management skills
- Strong competencies in all major Microsoft products
- Demonstrate professional behavior and teamwork, is punctual, detail oriented, dependable and adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to solve problems, multi-task and be a hands-on leader.
