Director of Logistics Enterprise Sales (Remote)
This role will represent all of our client’s services in the pursuit of new business to both prospects as well as current customers. This individual will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, securing meetings, building relationships and closing the deals. This role requires having the tenacity to pursue new business and the patience to nurture relationships through regular communications and meetings. This role will report directly to the Director of Enterprise Solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Pursue and close enterprise-level accounts via cold calling and face to face meetings.
  • Generate new sales opportunities.
  • Build a pipeline of engaged, qualified prospects that understand our client’s value by developing a keen sense of their supply chain and where our client’s company might be able to add value.
  • Develop and maintain customer portfolios, contact lists, and customer activity records.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation, goal achievement and long-term business goals in line with company vision and values.
  • Close accounts and check in with them periodically to make sure the customer is satisfied/try to gain more business.
  • Ensure successful transitions with new clients to partnering organizations.
  • Work to quickly resolve any problems with a solutions-based approach.  
  • Proactively identify growth areas for the company and make recommendations with clear implementation processes to achieve target solutions.
  • Work strategically with peers for both the success and the growth of the company.
  • Travel 20% to pursue potential business opportunities.
  • Report to Director of Enterprise Sales.

Experience:
  • Four year degree required.
  • 5+ years of successful and documented track record of success in selling within a non-asset brokerage model.  
  • Extensive track record of progressive and successful experience selling complex logistics solutions to Fortune 500 companies.
  • Self-starter, growth minded and entrepreneurial

This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission.
