Brokerage Accounting Supervisor
This role will be responsible for ensuring a cohesive workflow for back office staff while meeting quality measures and productivity goals. This position will be responsible for managing, leading, and supporting staff development by demonstrating compassion, generosity, integrity, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively coordinate back office efforts to all other business units.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage our client’s existing back office team in regards to their growth.
  • Create and implement office efficiencies wherever possible.
  • Serve as the ‘go-to person’ in the office for any questions or concerns.
  • Ensure all paperwork is correct and BOLs are being uploaded into McLeod.
  • Oversee a team that handles all paperwork in regards to the back office with carriers, customers and freight payment companies.
  • Staff the office as the company continues to grow.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, orientation, training, coaching, and skills development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop a culture of collaborative team work, problem-solving, positive communication, engagement, and flexibility.
  • Act as liaison and foster positive working relationships between various teams and all staff.
  • Ensure that all invoices are processed and sent out in a timely manner.
  • Oversee stock of office supplies.
  • Liaise with any facility management vendors.

Experience:
  • Previous logistics experience is required.
  • McLeod software experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
